The golf balls were the detail everybody remembered. Will had them printed with Sko's phone number for the outing, and Sko carried the champion's bag in a white jumpsuit with DISINGER across the chest. That was August.
Two Sundays into the title defense, the champion has not won a game. His defense finished below zero in the opener. He paid for a new one, started it over the old one, and the old one outscored it from his bench. He cut Romeo Doubs on Wednesday; Ethan claimed him the same day and started him that Sunday. Our numbers now have Will as the man most likely to carry the bag next summer.

Scott won the jacket two years ago. This August he sat down at the auction with two hundred dollars and put ninety-seven of it on two players. One, Puka Nacua, has scored about what a one-dollar quarterback scores. The other, Josh Jacobs, is on the commissioner's exempt list and has not played a snap.
Then the season started. He beat PJ by less than a point on a Jaxson Dart kneel, the closest game in the league's history, and renamed the team QB Kneel Merchant. In Week 2 two of his receivers finished at zero or below, and he drank both on camera.
